From 16th to 19th of September 2010 at the request of our partners a delegation from Puławy consisiting of Grzegorz Nakonieczny – the deputy Mayor of Puławy, Jarosław Pazik –the manager of Entrepreneurship Support Office and City Councillors – Cezary Jędrzejczyk and Grzegorz Zamojski participated in Days of Bojarka. The celebration of the Days of Bojarka was an occasion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of cooperation. In order to celebrate 10th anniversary of cooperation a memorial tree was planted. Cooperation concerning entrepreneurship was discussed.
The meeting was also another chance for the meeting of scouts from Puławy and Bojarka (the first one occurred during the IV Festival of Partner Towns). Together with the citizens of Bojarka, Polish scouts participated in a ceremonial parade and city festivity and with Ukrainian scouts they played in a historical game concerning Polish and Ukrainian history. They also exchanged information about rites characteristic for scouts from Puławy and Bojarka. During the meeting also the plans for a common scout camp in Ukraine were discussed. The cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian scouts was established during the Ukrainian scouts’ stay in Puławy during the IVth Partner Towns Festival in June.
